2026 TAQCIT Annual Meeting and Conference on Quantum Computing & Information Technology
From neutral atoms and quantum entanglement to superconducting hardware, connecting research, talent, and the association's annual gathering

TAQCIT conducted the 2026 meeting with academic, research, and industry partners. The program covered quantum computing, communications, optimization, experimental technologies, and foundational quantum information science; complete partner credits remain under source reconciliation.

Annual theme and purpose
The meeting convened scientists, researchers, and interdisciplinary participants to exchange work across theory, experiments, hardware, and applications in quantum computing and information technology. It also served as an important setting for TAQCIT's annual community exchange and association affairs.
Five call-for-papers areas
The official scope covered quantum computing and quantum machine learning; quantum communication and quantum cryptography; quantum annealing and optimization; experimental quantum technologies and devices; and foundational quantum information science. The organizer page also stated that selected papers could be considered for review by the SCI journal SPIN.
Three keynote lectures
Vladan Vuletić, Lester Wolfe Professor at MIT and CTO of QuEra, presented “Quantum Computing with Neutral Atoms.” Cheng Chin, Horace B. Horton Professor at the University of Chicago, presented “Entanglement Generation in Quantum Simulation and Networking.” Chii-Dong Chen, Distinguished Research Fellow at Academia Sinica and executive director of its Center for Quantum Computing, presented “Toward Large-Scale Superconducting Quantum Computing: Hardware Challenges and the Path Forward.”
Different deadline versions in the sources
The organizer's final CFP page lists March 13, 2026 for abstracts and titles and March 20 for notification. An earlier partner announcement from NTU Quantum Open Academy retains March 1 and March 15. This archive follows the organizer CFP while documenting the discrepancy instead of combining the two versions.
Historical registration information
Online registration closed April 9, with on-site registration beginning April 10. TAQCIT members who had paid that year's dues attended free. Online fees were NT$1,000 for general participants and NT$300 for students; on-site fees were NT$1,200 and NT$500. These are historical 2026 event records, not current ticket prices, dues, or membership requirements.
Annual meetings and membership applications
Under the association's currently confirmed procedure, membership applications are accepted once each year on site at the TAQCIT annual meeting. Dates, venue, membership categories, fees, and required materials still follow the official announcement for that year. The 2026 meeting has ended, so its old registration information should not be used for a new application.
Archive boundaries and program versions
The currently public Program URL may still read “Coming Soon,” while the locally preserved snapshot of the official 2026 microsite contains bilingual and Chinese program graphics. This page publishes those original graphics as historical records without rewriting a session-by-session timetable; dates, venue, subject areas, and speakers remain cross-checked against organizer and partner pages.
