01

Conference purpose

The 2022 conference and annual meeting brought quantum-technology researchers, industry practitioners, and educators into one setting to exchange research, technical trends, and practical solutions. Its movement from technology to culture also shows that TAQCIT treated quantum as an interdisciplinary, industrial, and public-communication project from an early stage.

02

Conference organization

The public organization page names TAQCIT President Ching-Ray Chang as conference chair and Chao-Song Lai, dean of the College of Engineering at Chang Gung University, as co-chair. Other program and technical committee rosters appear as images on the original site and are not transcribed here without independently verifiable text.

03

Three keynotes

Shangjr Gwo spoke on the state of quantum-technology development in Taiwan. Director Mei-Ling Chou discussed production experience from the quantum-science-fiction series Q18. Professor Dafei Jin presented “Single electrons on solid neon: a new solid-state qubit platform with ultralong coherence.” Together, the talks connected national technology strategy, cultural storytelling, and a new solid-state qubit platform.

04

Nine invited talks

Published topics covered post-quantum cryptography standards, quantum optimization for 5G networks, industrial ecosystems and applications, quantum computation for drug discovery, QUBO solvers, cryogenic modules, intelligent computing and quantum education, quantum-technology legislation in Taiwan, and Quantum AI. The speakers listed by the original site were Chun-Ming Chen, Yi-Chin Chen, Po-Jung Shih, Yen-Chu Lin, Tsung-Hui Lee, Shih-Hsuan Hsu, Cheng-Yuan Chang, Chia-Hung Chang, and Wei-Min Chang.

05

Editorial source note

For “Quantum Computation for Drug Discovery Applications: Preferred Tautomeric State Prediction,” both the original invited-talk page and the handbook program identify Yen-Chu Lin of Intumit. A handbook preface instead attributes the same talk to Ming-Hsiu Hsieh of Foxconn. Because that isolated attribution conflicts with the dedicated program sources, this archive uses Yen-Chu Lin and records the discrepancy for future verification.

06

Remarks and cross-sector exchange

The original site lists Min-Tsong Lin, Cheng-Hua Lu, and Young Liu for morning remarks, followed by Nicky Lu, Chien-Nan Lin, and Lee Wei-Bin in the afternoon. The list reflects the event's research, public-policy, and industrial exchange in 2022. Titles and affiliations are historical event records and are not presented as current positions.

07

Historical registration information

Members who had paid annual dues attended free. Online fees were NT$1,000 for general participants and NT$300 for students; on-site fees were NT$1,200 and NT$500. These figures preserve the 2022 event record and do not represent current dues, membership categories, benefits, or application requirements.

08

Limits on using old membership material

The 2022 site also contains a membership page, but its historical categories and prices are not carried forward as current rules. Under the association's currently confirmed procedure, applications are accepted once each year on site at the TAQCIT annual meeting, with details governed by the latest announcement or an official reply from TAQCIT.

The 2022 meeting has ended. This is an event archive; see Membership & Partnerships for the current application procedure.
